stock_market.jpgOctober 29th,1929, the infamous stock market crash that spurred numerous events, that it is believed to be one of the largest contributors to the Great Depression. Once the 'crash' occurred America was thrown into a time of chaos and turmoil, but many failed to remember that America had been facing problems such as the crash for the last six months. By 1933 over 11,000 of the nations banks were shut down because of the crash. Over the course of just two days the stock market had lost 24% of it's value. Since the Stock Market Crash was one of the biggest failures lately they referred to this chaotic day as "Black Tuesday". It was finally estimated that it would take at least twenty-seven years for the Stock Market to be up, running and back to the state it was in.
